From now on I will have to maintain the highest level of quality in every subsequent work I am launching into the world. Gonna be kinda hard, I guess. Arrrrr. A bit nervous, honestly.
The videobook to be launched on Stepik today at 15.00MSC is designed to help you plunge deep into the realm of the French culture and language. By the way, Kate (Ekaterina Yam) and Tim (Тимофей Степанов) actively participated in the creation and editing process.
This course is in Russian, but I am more and more pushed towards creating English-language mirrors. (I will have to make two copies at the very least, because Russians are not so good at languages, unfortunately, due to the hysterical “patriotic” policy, especially during the last years, so I have doubts many will be ready to hear about the Finnish or Polish literature in English.)
In this course I decided to step aside from the traditional vision of grammar and language looking at them from a more constructivist perspective and trying to persuade my viewers and learners that it is culture which is at the core of any process, with the language serving only as a means of coding and decoding a message. With a huge share of active practice, of course. “Theory-only” is not our method.
As for this course, I will be helping you actively between 1 November and 31 December 2017.
Have fun. Hope you will reap maximum benefit of it.
